Happy Monday!

The rain has finally stopped here in Central Ontario this morning. It rained most of the night again, and I was afraid for a bit that our golf outing today might get rained out today too! But it’s drying up and Shaun just walked in, so it looks like I’m finally going golfing again!

Before we get into today’s goodies, I have to share this quote with you that was on my Momentum Dashboard this morning:

I’m paying a lot of attention these days to messages that come to me, and I’ve been getting a lot around owning my own power, finding my own vibe, being worthy of sharing my knowledge, and being willing to accept compliments and blessings that come my way while not becoming dependent on external validation.

Today’s quote seems to be one more in the same vein and I think it’s something that a lot of us struggle with… we want to control everything, and it’s just not possible. It’s like I can’t make you buy my products if you don’t want to buy, and I can’t make you open my emails and click my links if you don’t want to open and click.

Those actions are yours and your alone and I have absolutely no control over them. Although I am always extremely grateful and feel amazingly blessed when you do! That is in my control – how I feel about and react to the choices you make when it comes to what I share with you.

I find I’m leaning into that a lot more… letting go of the need to control things that I have no business trying to control. It’s very freeing and very stress-relieving. And I find that more and more I worry less about what others are doing in their businesses (you’ll notice there haven’t been any Saturday Soapbox columns in awhile) and focusing on finding my own vibe and making the choices that work for me and for what I want to achieve.

That’s my wish for you too… that you find your own creative vibe and make the best choices you can for your own business, control what is in your power to control, and let go of everything else.
