Happy Sunday!

It’s been quite the day here! Yesterday I was just minding my business, cruising through my work, and Shaun texted to ask if I’d like to go play indoor golf this morning. And it’s like no matter what’s happening, if there’s golf involved, I am so there! So, of course I said yes.

Then I realized that meant they would probably end up here and my house was looking less than stellar. So I worked late Saturday night to get today’s deal ready, and then got up at 5 a.m. to clean my whole house.

And, after scraping about 5 inches of ice off my car since I hadn’t been out since the storm a couple of days ago, off I went. We had a really good time and played for about 3 hours, and when I got home, I dropped off my clubs, and headed straight to the diner for some lunch. Needless to say, after all that I was exhausted and decided to just rest for a bit… and woke up at 5 p.m.!

I’m glad I had the time off even if it does put me a little further behind than I was yesterday. I always end up feeling burned out by the end of the year and this year it all just snuck up on me.

And I have a feeling I won’t see the kids until Christmas Eve now, so that gives me a week to get caught up on both work and sleep!
