Happy Tuesday!

I am happily situated at my desk in its new temporary location this morning! Shaun came over after dinner last night and moved the desk and the computer, and brought me a new picture for my wall – and it’s of a beach!

Apparently it was left behind in their house, and he knows how much I love beaches so he thought I’d like it! And I have the perfect place for it too… It’s going in the entry way so that the first thing I see when I come home is beach.

And I have to say, it makes a huge difference not having the computer in a corner of my bedroom. I had the best sleep I’ve had in months last night! Go me!

I’m feeling a lot like the magic energy is at work here in full force this week. And as long as I stay intentional in my own thoughts and actions, it’s only going to continue to grow and get better from here!

If you want to take your business to the next level, it’s so important to build a growth mindset and focus on continual personal development rather than dwelling on what you can’t do yet. When you are building your business, it’s also to remember that there are things that can hold you back. It’s very easy to get caught up in the little things and forget about your big goals and dreams.

When it comes to building a growth mindset you need to always be looking for new ways to grow. It is not about finding the next big thing or bright shiny object; it’s about recognizing that we grow every single day, even when we tackle small tasks.

So what, exactly, is a growth mindset?

A growth mindset is when you believe that you can get better, can learn more, and can change into a better version of yourself. A limiting belief is exactly the opposite, believing that one’s capabilities are static and that this is all life has to offer. The difference between these two is a crucial component of how someone deals with challenging situations.

Put simply, a growth mindset is a positive way of thinking about your abilities and potential. It is accepting and embracing that realization that things change and you can’t just stay in one place forever.
