Happy Tuesday!
It’s turned out to be a wet and rainy day here in Central Ontario. I stopped at the diner to get some soup, and the waitress told me they’d had 7 cars towed out of the parking lot this morning, so of course I had to go and make sure mine didn’t get towed by mistake! And I nearly landed on my butt because the lot was so slippery, it could give the skating rink across the road a run for its money!
I’m thinking if it’s going to be like this all week, it’s a good thing I have all the fixings for a good slow cooker soup on hand and can just cook for myself this week.
And, with the bundle sale starting next week, there’s always a ton of work to be done.
Speaking of which, if you’re planning to submit something tomorrow – January 18 – is the last day to get your contributions in.
Here’s the link to the contributor’s page
But this morning, I had a really strong urge to get back to blogging and so I started a new series on being productive and organized. Here’s the first post:
Today’s Read: 8 Traits of Highly Productive People
Mindset is a huge part of any entrepreneur’s success, and I think it’s even more important when you’re a solopreneur or someone who relies on your own creativity to create your own success. So, it would make sense to me that if you’re wanting to improve on your own productivity, that taking a look at the traits successful, productive people exhibit is a good place to start.
As my good friend Val Selby* is fond of reminding me, “Mindset owns your business.”
The quick version is that someone with a highly productive mindset has a clear vision of what they want to achieve. This allows them to focus on goals and not get distracted by all those shiny objects out there. It’s also said that highly productive people are disciplined in their work habits and are able to stick to a schedule so they get things done.

That’s it for me this evening! I did not get my list done today. From being super tired all day, to dealing with a very cranky man-child when he came home from work, it’s been a strange day here. At least he did cook dinner so I could continue working on the newsletter. So I’ll go watch a little mindless tv tonight, and then start fresh in the morning!
Have an amazing day! Create what makes your heart happy!
