Happy Monday!

And Happy Boxing Day if that’s a thing for you!

Boxing Day used to be the big holiday in our family. We would all gather at my grandparents house when I was little, or in the final years of the big family celebrations, it would take place in my parents’ basement. Everyone would bring their leftovers from Christmas dinner the day before, and of course, my mom would cook and bake up a storm because she pretty much lived to feed people.

So, it’s a little bittersweet for me today to be spending the day totally alone, since Shaun and the GF went back to her place last night after dinner. But I have lots to keep me busy and I will go out for a walk at some point now that the wind has finally died down here. And really, after not working for two days, I’m kind of itching to get back to my projects!
