Happy Friday!
It’s another grey, rainy day here in Central Ontario, and tomorrow is supposed to be more of the same. I’m heading out for the morning now to get breakfast at the diner, and then hit the grocery store. There’s laundry that needs doing too, but I’m thinking that can wait until tomorrow. Two super-peopley places in one day is a bit much for this introvert!
This will be the first time in a month I’ve been down to the diner for breakfast, so it will be a real treat! We’re all in super frugal mode here trying to stash away as much money as we can to pay the tax bill at the end of April. I actually don’t mind cooking my own breakfast, and the only time I really miss the diner food is on potato soup days. No matter how hard I try, I just can’t replicate their potato bacon soup!
