Happy Wednesday!
What a day this has been! And it’s all good for a change. Yesterday I signed on with a new accountability coach, and I’m already feeling the effects of having to report in every morning. I go through spurts where I have no energy and no motivation to do anything but sleep, and even though I have two major products that I’m working on – three if you count January’s bundle, which is already in organization mode – I got nothing done for about 4 days last week.
This week started off pretty well, but yesterday I could already feel myself starting to fade again, and then the opportunity came to get some coaching and I jumped on it. I’ve also decided that my focus for 2023 is going to be on my health above everything else, and I started putting that into practice today.
And then just because I want everyone else to feel more productive too, I went and dug out one of my older articles with some of my favourite productivity tips for you.
Today’s Read: Want to Be More Productive? Try These 7 Simple Tips
One of the most common goals I hear people setting is to be more productive. I’ve even been guilty of making that goal myself… and often falling short. It can be so stressful knowing that you only have a finite number of hours to work every day, and thinking you’ll never get everything done that needs doing.
Here are my 7 best tips to help you be more productive:
(And yes, this is something I will also be working on daily.)
Tip #1 – Turn off Facebook and Email, or better yet shut off your WiFi altogether.
It’s so easy to get distracted by the sound of notifications coming in for email and social media. Even if you’ve shut the pages down on your computer or tablet, you most likely still get the notifications on your phone. By completely turning off the WiFi on all your devices takes the temptation to check out what’s going on when you should be working and helps to lessen the feeling that you might be missing out on something.
