Happy Friday!

It’s an absolutely gorgeous morning here in Central Ontario! The sun is shining and it’s reasonably warm, and I’d be on a golf course this morning if they hadn’t officially closed for the season last week! Alas, no golf for me now until about April next year.

But, I’ve been out this morning for my chiropractic and acupuncture treatments so I should be relatively pain free for at least the weekend! I’m thinking a trip to the beach tomorrow if I can get a few things knocked off my to-do list today. I have four things that absolutely must get done today, and my reward is going to be some playtime by the water tomorrow even if it snows!

New Tool: Kidz Math Printables

Ken Bluttman has a cool new tool available this week if you’re in the kids’ activity books niche. I don’t usually promote a lot of kids stuff just because that’s not really my main interest, but the educational stuff has always intrigued me and it’s always been on my publishing wish list to do books like this for the homeschool market. Mostly because I homeschooled Shaun way back in the early 90s when there was nothing like this to help parents out.

So, I bought the front end of this last night and I have to say, it does what it advertises and is pretty slick. I’m thinking I’ll probably experiment a bit with it and make some math printables and see how we do with them.

The one con I found is that it does only save in PDF format, so if you want to do any doctoring up of your finished pages, then you’ll have to convert them to PowerPoint first.
