Happy Friday!

It’s another gorgeous day here in Central Ontario. I’ve been over to the chiropractors for my appointment and then out for breakfast already this morning, so my day is off to a great start.

I’m actually looking forward to the weekend for getting things done, although I might head down to the beach one day to go for a walk. Tomorrow we’re going golfing in the morning before Shaun heads to the girlfriends for the rest of the weekend.

Sadly, in our culture, most people are very uncomfortable saying positive things about themselves at all, even if they’re true. Part of this is because there is a misunderstanding of definitions of words. Self-promotion is simply advocating for yourself when you’ve done something well to let others know that you can do the same for them. You can still be humble and very honestly state that right now, you’re the best at whatever it is that you’re best at.
