Happy Thursday!
The sun is shining, I’m feeling rested this morning, and it’s going to be a glorious day here in Central Ontario. I love waking up like this with the sun streaming in the window, feeling energized and ready to take on whatever the day brings.
This quote was on my dashboard this morning:

That hit me this morning, because I think one of the reasons I’m feeling so great is that I made the decision to start doing more of what lights me up and less of what I think I “should” be doing.
I don’t know about you, but I always feel guilty doing the stuff that makes me happiest before I get the “chores” done. And by time I get all those things I have to do out of the way I don’t have any time left to do the things that really energize me and make me happy. So, there are going to be some changes around here in the schedule, so that I create the things that make my heart happy.
I’m pretty sure that this will serve me better, and that means I can serve you better too. It’s all a trickle-down effect when you stop and think about it.
And after all, I really do need to practice what I preach, right?
