Happy Tuesday!
It’s a beautiful, and much cooler day here in Central Ontario. It was so hot and humid on Sunday that I only got to play 6 holes of my golf round before the heat got to me. I ended up just driving my cart alongside my group while they finished because I was so overheated. But it was still a good day, and I hit my best drive of the year on the first tee. Here’s hoping I can do that in front of Shaun when we go out on Friday morning!
I can’t believe it’s almost July already! This year is just flying by and I’m not anywhere near close to where I want to be. How about you? Are you on track to meet your goals this year? Hit reply and let me know…
I do know that I will be really buckling down in Q3 to get everything in place to really hit it hard in Q4. I’ve already got my artist creating seasonal content for the end of the year so that we’re ahead of the game this year. Last year I didn’t hire her until September, so we were a little slow on the holiday content.
And, as I mentioned the other day I’m experimenting with new directions too, so it’s going to be a fun-filled summer!

When it comes to creating lead magnets, the easy way to get it right is to consider both your point of view, and your audience’s at the same time. Since the whole point of having a lead magnet is to fill your list with people who want what you offer, it makes a lot of sense to find out what they want so you can create your lead magnets to address their needs and wants.
The key – and we’ve talked about this before – is knowing who your ideal customer is. In an ideal world, you already know who your best customer is and what they need and you’re already selling it.They already want what you’ve got, so it’s not hard convince them.
But if you don’t know your audience as well as you think you do, there are a few things you need to know before you start creating lead magnets, and any other type of content, for your ideal audience.
