Happy Thursday!
I’ve got the windows open, the tunes going, and the only thing missing is my view of the beach. It’s a great day because I’m alive when I probably should’ve been dead 20 years ago. Today is the 20th anniversary of my first heart attack, and believe me I am grateful for today and every day since then. I think today is a day for a lot of reflection – in fact, the whole weekend will probably be filled with lots of reflection because Sunday would have been my 40th wedding anniversary if Shaun’s dad and I had stayed together. And I’m noticing the older Shaun gets, the more he looks like his dad too.
But today is a day for celebrating and that’s what I’m doing. Even if I have to work while I’m doin’ it!
Here’s what I have for you today…
Today’s Read: 15 Tips for Building Traffic to Your Content
Building traffic to your lead magnets and other content is essential to a successful list, and building a successful business overall. But all traffic is not created equal.
There are many ways to get traffic to your sites and there have been some really good courses created on that. The key takeaway in all of them is that no matter which traffic building method you use, you want to make sure you are sending targeted traffic to your products and content.
Here are 19 tips for building traffic to your content:
Tip #1 – Set goals for your traffic
In order to build targeted traffic streams, you need to set goals for your traffic. So, before you write any content, create copy for a landing page, or even create a product or service, you need to know who wants it and why you want that traffic. What do you want the traffic or visitor to do when they come to that page?

Ends Tonight! From Burnout to Bliss from Coach Glue (Plus Bonus)
If you’ve been around here for any length of time, you might remember that after doing about 14 events in six months, by the end of 2020 I was so burnt out I didn’t even want to be in business anymore. And I spent a lot of the first part of 2021 trying different strategies to fall back in love with my business.
Today I chanced on a couple of things – well, actually, I stopped and read a few emails this morning – and came across two things. The first one was an article on the Convert Kit blog titled:
Re-structure your money mindset to help you scale your business and reduce burnout
And the second thing was a new workshop from Coach Glue called From Burnout to Bliss: How to Fall in Love with Your Business Again!
How’s that for serendipity!
This DFY workshop helps you help your audience recover from burnout, re-build and love their businesses and life again. The content covers:
- Lesson 1: Define Your Dreamiest Ideal Clients (And Ditch the Nightmare Clients For Good)
- Lesson 2: Build Precious Balance into Your Biz with Sexy, Streamlined Offers
- Lesson 3: Automate & Systematize Your Coaching Process for (Way More) Ease & Flow
- Lesson 4: Implement Firm-but-Flexible Boundaries & Experience Incredible Work/Life Balance
I’m looking forward to diving into this myself and learning some strategies for when I start feeling burnt out again. It’s on sale for $97 (you save $200) through Thursday, May 5 when you use promo code 97.
Bonus Offer: And of course I have a bonus for you – 2 of them, in fact. Email your receipt to me at ritchiemedia@gmail.com and put BONUS CLAIM in the subject and I will send you the link to choose your bonuses.
Ends Tonight! 30 Day Quit Sugar Challenge from Jan
I’m excited about this because it comes at a perfect time for me. I’ll be grabbing a copy to use for myself, and to turn into products for my Etsy store too.
The planner is in the form of a 30 day challenge with 38 unique pages including 2 covers, and 2 background options and a motivational copyright free quote on each of the daily challenge pages. It also come with PowerPoints and Canva versions in both A4 and US Letter sizes and an extra text file of quotes. Use coupon code QUITSUGAR to pick it up for only $12.95 through Thursday, May 5.

So I was really excited to see that for two days next week – May 10 and 11 – Jennifer is offering a Content Repurposing Mojo live workshop!
Jennifer walks her talk, and in these two live sessions she’s going to show you what she has learned about content repurposing and how to successfully make it a consistent, planned part of your business.
