Happy Tuesday!
It’s an interesting day here today. Shaun is still home sick – he ended up in the emergency room last night, and was there until about 10 p.m. But they diagnosed him with an infection, and not a second round of covid so I’m very thankful for that. They’ve got him on some pretty heavy-duty antibiotics for the next several days, but if I know him, he’ll be going back to work tomorrow.
It was a really strange feeling last night to drop him off at the emergency room doors, because they won’t let anyone but essential caregivers in to wait. It was the first time in his life that I’ve ever not been there when he’s been sick. We’ve been very fortunate that in all his years growing up playing hockey, the only trips to the emergency room were for a sprained ankle, and a messed up toe from someone dropping a picnic table on his foot.
But it all worked out in the end, and he’s home resting today and I’m attempting to get a boatload of work done.
There are a lot of cool goodies to share today, so after today’s read, I’ll do a “Top 3” section and then the rest of today’s deals.
Today’s Read: Are You Making Any of These 10 Landing Page Mistakes?
Your landing page is a key component in your list building efforts. Creating landing pages that convert ensures that you are targeting the right audience for the solutions you provide. But it’s easy to make landing page mistakes that can derail your efforts.
Here are 10 landing page mistakes you don’t want to make.
Mistake #1: Your page loads too slowly
You only have a few seconds to get and keep your audience’s attention. If your pages load slowly, they’ll end up clicking away and going somewhere else. Use software such as GTMetrix to test how fast your pages load. Quick-loading pages will give you the best chance at capturing your audience’s attention and keeping them on the page.

Three Things I’m Excited About Today…
Thing 1 – From Burnout to Bliss from Coach Glue (Plus Bonus)
If you’ve been around here for any length of time, you might remember that after doing about 14 events in six months, by the end of 2020 I was so burnt out I didn’t even want to be in business anymore. And I spent a lot of the first part of 2021 trying different strategies to fall back in love with my business.
Today I chanced on a couple of things – well, actually, I stopped and read a few emails this morning – and came across two things. The first one was an article on the Convert Kit blog titled:
Re-structure your money mindset to help you scale your business and reduce burnout
And the second thing was a new workshop from Coach Glue called From Burnout to Bliss: How to Fall in Love with Your Business Again!
How’s that for serendipity!
This DFY workshop helps you help your audience recover from burnout, re-build and love their businesses and life again. The content covers:
- Lesson 1: Define Your Dreamiest Ideal Clients (And Ditch the Nightmare Clients For Good)
- Lesson 2: Build Precious Balance into Your Biz with Sexy, Streamlined Offers
- Lesson 3: Automate & Systematize Your Coaching Process for (Way More) Ease & Flow
- Lesson 4: Implement Firm-but-Flexible Boundaries & Experience Incredible Work/Life Balance
I’m looking forward to diving into this myself and learning some strategies for when I start feeling burnt out again. It’s on sale for $97 (you save $200) through Thursday, May 5 when you use promo code 97.
Bonus Offer: And of course I have a bonus for you – 2 of them, in fact. Email your receipt to me at ritchiemedia@gmail.com and put BONUS CLAIM in the subject and I will send you the link to choose your bonuses.
Thing 2 – Price Rollback for the Kitchen Sink Plus (Plus Bonus)
Always one to go against the mainstream, why should Melody be any different this time? When everyone else is raising prices and trying to keep up with inflation, she’s rolled the price of the Kitchen Sink Plus membership back to only $27 a month. For that you get:
- All Products will ONLY be available through the Membership – these will never be sold anywhere else!!
- A New Limited Edition Digital Planner
- A New Limited Edition Printable Planner
- A New Limited Edition Lead Magnet
- A Layered PSD File to create your own covers (at least 10 Layers)
- PNG versions of the layers for use on Canva!
- Done-for-You Covers
- Monthly LIVE Workshop
- Surprise additions every month to complement that month’s planners!
Bonus Offer: My bonus for this is a set of new digital papers that complement the month’s planners and backgrounds. I’m a little behind on getting these done, but they will be added to your members area as I get them finished. You will have them all by the time May’s content is ready. (It’s a definite sign of burnout and exhaustion when I don’t even have the energy to make papers, because as you probably know… making digital papers is my happy place!)
Thing 3 – A Live Repurposing Workshop For You (Plus Bonus)
The third thing I’m excited about is this live content repurposing workshop…. And no, it’s not by me!
My friend Jennifer Burke is a content repurposing queen and there are days when I wish she’d get out of my head! The headline for her latest live workshop goes like this…
Are You Tired of the Hamster Wheel of Content Creation?
And if you were on the recent Printable Publishers Round Tables, you’ll know that getting off the hamster wheel and stopping the burnout are what I’m all about this year!
So I was really excited to see that for two days next week – May 10 and 11 – Jennifer is offering a Content Repurposing Mojo live workshop!
Jennifer walks her talk, and in these two live sessions she’s going to show you what she has learned about content repurposing and how to successfully make it a consistent, planned part of your business.
Check it out here and use coupon code REUSE30 to save $30 at checkout.
Bonus Offer: This product qualifies for a bonus. Email your receipt to me at ritchiemedia@gmail.com and put BONUS CLAIM in the subject and I will send you the link to choose your bonus.
