Happy Tuesday!
It’s a gorgeous spring day here in Central Ontario, and the driving range opened yesterday! Shaun said he’s going to try and get done work on time tonight so we can go out and hit some balls. And I’m getting ready to sign up for a swing clinic, and Bogey School again this summer. I had such a great time last year that I can’t wait to do it again!
Now that the bundle is over for this year, I’d love to say I’m having a relaxing day, but that’s so far from the truth it’s not even funny. While I am quietly celebrating the achievement of putting this year’s bundle and round tables together despite some obstacles – it’s time to start moving forward with my next projects.
Next up for me is the Creative Spark Summit that starts on April 26 today, and then getting ready for my next sale which starts on May 5. I also need to get starting on Lori’s listing challenge today. I think I can still get 30 new listings into my Etsy shop, and I purposely waited until today to start because I knew I wouldn’t have a lot of time last week.
But before I do all that, it is really nice to be writing a normal newsletter for you again!
Here’s what I have for you starting with today’s read…
Today’s Read: 5 Reasons Your To-Do List Doesn’t Always Get Done
There’s always so much going on in the online world that sometimes it’s really hard to keep your focus on what you know you need to be doing, and being consistent at getting it done. At least, that’s always been my experience. I’ve found that the more I work at improving focus and building consistency in my I don’t know about you, but I start every day with a to-do list. The sad thing about that is that on a lot of days, there’s not much that gets done. Other things crop up, I go down rabbit holes in a completely different direction, or sometimes I’m just plain old undproductive with a capital UN.
What about you? Did you make a to-do list for the day? Are you following it, or are you off in another direction?
If you are, don’t feel too bad. There’s a statistic floating around out there that says approximately 41% of items on most people’s to-do lists never get done. Part of the reason for that is because we don’t always make the right kind of to-do lists.
