Happy Saturday!
It’s a cold and frosty morning here in Central Ontario. At -18C it’s the coldest morning so far this year, and Jack Frost is creating lovely artwork on my windows!
I’m celebrating this morning because for the first time in I can’t remember how long, I actually slept for 8 hours last night! That might not sound like a big deal, but for someone with chronic insomnia, it’s a freakin’ miracle, and definitely a cause for celebration. My normal night’s sleep is usually around 4-5 hours on a good night.
Normally I’d take myself down to the diner for breakfast, but they’re closed until this latest round of lockdown is over. So instead I’ll make something good for myself here and enjoy a rare caramel latte as my treat.
